1. Developing suspicions that your spouse may be cheating.

The first step is to take note of any irregular behavior. Is he or she spending more time than usual on the internet? Is he or she being even mildly secretive about their web browsing? Do they receive text messages more often while giving some lame excuse as to their origins?
